Giving Tuesday 2025

This Giving Tuesday is 12/02/2025! We are excited to announce that this year we have $25,000 in Matching Donations from Anonymous Donors!
Giving Tuesday is a day of giving that takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which falls on December 2nd this year. It’s a time for individuals, nonprofits, and organizations to come together and support causes they care about through donations and acts of kindness.
Last year, we were able to raise over $60,000 through this campaign, and we would love to add to that this year!
Should I wait until Giving Tuesday to donate?
You can, but you don’t have to! All donations made before December 3rd will count towards our Giving Tuesday total.
Can my donation be matched?
Yes! All donations will be matched up to $25,000. Don’t forget to ask your employer if they have a corporate matching program as well.
Where will my donation go?
Your donation supports every aspect of the Humane Society of Morgan County’s mission—from rescuing animals in need and finding them loving forever homes to providing vital support for our community.
Our outreach programs consist of Free Rabies Vaccination and Microchipping quarterly, Community Pets Spay & Neuter, Education through school programs and other youth programs!
Thanks to you, we are able to provide the necessary medical support that our adoptable animals need.
Can I donate in honor of someone?
Absolutely! Giving Tuesday is a great time to donate in honor of a loved one or furry friend. You can choose to make your gift in their name, and we’ll send them a special acknowledgment.
How can I help spread the word?
In addition to donating, you can help us raise awareness by sharing our Giving Tuesday campaign on social media and encouraging friends and family to get involved. Together, we can make this Giving Tuesday a record-breaking day for animals in need. Thank you for being part of this special day of giving!

Every dollar makes a difference in the life of a rescued pet. Each dog & cat rescued by the Humane Society of Morgan County is spayed or neutered, receives a rabies vaccine, and a microchip, in additon to species specific vaccines! An average healthy dog needs $265 in care while a healthy cat needs $150 to get ready for adoption.

The Humane Society of Morgan County receives $0 from national organizations, the government, or your tax dollars. We rely 100% on the support of our community through private donations and grants. Our monthly donors are especially vital to the life saving work the Humane Society does each day. Please consider becoming a monthly donor today.
